In 2025, Racines boréales took part in the Défi OSEntreprendre in the Faire affaire ensemble (Doing Business Together) category — which highlights exemplary collaborations between local Quebec businesses. We were proud to be named local laureates, then regional laureates at the gala on April 30, 2025, before being selected as national finalists at the June 11, 2025 gala.
Changing purchasing habits, one line item at a time: it is a simple gesture, but a profoundly transformative one. That is the conviction behind the Faire affaire ensemble initiative since its creation in 2020, at a time when the pandemic collectively pushed us to rethink the way we do things.
In five years, the project will have helped identify 1,073 businesses with inclusive practices and multiplied exchanges between local buyers and suppliers. We are proud to be among the ambassador businesses of this initiative — regional and national laureates from Quebec's 17 regions — who have made local procurement a concrete lever for the Quebec economy.
A project born from the forest and the terroir
Our application highlighted the collaboration at the heart of our company identity: the one we maintain with nearly 200 Quebec partners who supply us with authentic local ingredients and products.
These collaborations allow us to fulfill our mission of restoring prestige to northern ingredients by offering local alternatives to imported products.

Sourcing locally is truly at the foundation of our DNA. We are proud to say that almost all the ingredients in our product range come from Quebec.
This recognition confirms what we have believed from day one: that working together, locally, creates something greater than the sum of its parts.
