Bean-to-bar milk chocolate with blackcurrant and buckwheat from Quebec

$13.65
4 in stock

This tablet is made with 51% milk bean-to-bar chocolate from Chaleur B, in Gaspésie.

With its slightly sweet taste, we really find the flavors and subtle notes of the bean. Neither all sugar nor all chocolate. We can clearly feel the fruity notes. The subtle taste of the haskap berries further enhances the pleasure of tasting this chocolate.

The Chaleur B team works directly with small cocoa producers, creating a short supply chain and improved traceability. It carefully selects cocoa beans that express distinctive characteristics, revealing the best of each of the terroirs from which they originate.

Blackcurrants are grown at Cassis Monna & filles on Île d'Orléans.

The buckwheat comes from Moissonneries du pays (Aliments Trigone), the only company of its kind in Eastern Canada. It has been processing organically grown grains since 1984.

We are transforming local culinary culture

to put North back on the plate

The North,

It is the land here that nourishes us, from the forests to the fields to the Saint-Lawrence. It is our connection to the cycle of the seasons.

It is a community of farmers, fishermen and artisans who put their know-how at the service of our food and our gourmet pleasures.

In return, we highlight the fruit of their work through the exceptional condiments that we create and our selection of local products, in a spirit of short supply chain and respect for the environment
