Organic Atlantic Nori (flakes)

$13.99

Nori is probably the most well-known seaweed of all, since it is the one used in making sushi. Its flavor is delicately vegetal, woody and fragrant. It is reminiscent of tea and dried mushrooms and gives off aromatic notes of seafood. When grilled, it takes on a slightly smoky flavour.

This seaweed is an excellent source of protein, iron, magnesium, vitamin B12, iodine and fiber.

Preparation

The flakes can be dry roasted to give them a smoky flavor, but they are also delicious on their own. Then, simply sprinkle the flakes on your favorite dishes: fish, poke bowls, salads, dips, soups, marinades, and more.

Flavor Pairings

Atlantic Nori is delicious with avocado, cucumber, ginger, whole grains, and rice. It can also be paired with mushrooms, sesame, tofu, and vinegar. This list of flavor pairings is far from exhaustive—feel free to get creative!

Conservation

Atlantic Nori should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from light. A pantry cupboard is ideal. Although it can be stored for a very long time in its dried form, we recommend consuming it within 12 months of purchase to enjoy maximum flavor and freshness.

We are transforming local culinary culture

to put North back on the plate

The North,

It is the land here that nourishes us, from the forests to the fields to the Saint-Lawrence. It is our connection to the cycle of the seasons.

It is a community of farmers, fishermen and artisans who put their know-how at the service of our food and our gourmet pleasures.

In return, we highlight the fruit of their work through the exceptional condiments that we create and our selection of local products, in a spirit of short supply chain and respect for the environment
