Sea bacon

Really not good! Soft, it felt like we were chewing paper...

Hello Jessica,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us your review. We are very sorry to read that you did not appreciate the texture of the sea bacon! If you do not like it as a snack, did you know that it is still possible to use it in a recipe? Immersing it in a hot liquid allows you to recover the umami flavors of the seaweed, after which you can compost the seaweed as is.
Here are several recipes that will, we hope, help you reconcile yourself a little with this product: https://oceandesaveurs.ca/category/type-dalgues/bacon-de-mer-bio/

We are transforming local culinary culture

to put North back on the plate

The North,

It is the land here that nourishes us, from the forests to the fields to the Saint-Lawrence. It is our connection to the cycle of the seasons.

It is a community of farmers, fishermen and artisans who put their know-how at the service of our food and our gourmet pleasures.

In return, we highlight the fruit of their work through the exceptional condiments that we create and our selection of local products, in a spirit of short supply chain and respect for the environment
